How it works

  1. 01

    Install

Add it from the Chrome Web Store. It takes a few seconds.

  2. 02

Click the puzzle-piece icon and pin LetsSend so it is always in your toolbar.

  3. 03

    Sign in once

Log in on letssend.com with "Keep me logged in" ticked, and the popup can upload as you.

Signed in or not

Signed in, the popup uploads files itself and hands you a share link, with your plan's limits. Not signed in, the popup opens letssend.com to send, because the bot check that protects anonymous uploads runs on the site rather than inside an extension. Either way, there is no password: signing in uses a short code sent to your email.

What it asks permission for, and why

Context menus adds the right-click entry. Cookies lets the popup read your LetsSend sign-in so it can upload as you; it only looks at the letssend.com cookie. Site access is limited to letssend.com and our file storage, so uploads can go straight to storage. The extension cannot read the pages you browse.

Questions people ask

Is the extension free?

Yes. It uses your normal LetsSend plan, free or Pro.

Does it work in Edge or Brave?

Yes. Any Chromium-based browser can install it from the Chrome Web Store.

Why does it open the website when I am not signed in?

Anonymous uploads go through a bot check that runs on letssend.com. Sign in once with "Keep me logged in" and the popup uploads directly.

Can the extension see what I browse?

No. Its site access is limited to letssend.com and our file storage, and it only reads the LetsSend sign-in cookie.
